The skilled and experienced physical therapists at NWC assess your ailment and develop a treatment program to reduce your pain and maximize your function. Whether you have joint or muscle pain, spine pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia or a sports or work injury, we will get you back on track. We also work with pre- and post surgical clients. In the initial assessment, we are with you for an hour, one on one, to assess postural alignment, analyze your movement and assess joint mechanics and isolate weak muscles. Then we design your program with your goals in mind. We integrate physical therapy with fitness so you reach your full potential and stay healthy. Please schedule an appointment at 434-361-2650.

Step 1 – Forms

Step 2 – Things to Bring

Prepare to bring the following items:

  • Medication list if taking medications
  • Form of identification and insurance card
  • Prescription from physician if provided

 

Step 3 – What to Wear

Please wear clothing to make it easy for the physical therapist to evaluate you. For instance, if you are attending therapy for knee pain, wear of bring shorts. If you are attending therapy for foot pain, please bring in your shoes and/or insoles that you commonly wear.


Step 4 – Arrival Time

Please arrive at your scheduled time so your physical therapist has the maximum time to spend with you.  Your scheduled time permits time to complete any paperwork, review your insurance, and to get to know you.  In addition, arriving on time will ensure that you get your full time one-on-one with the physical therapist.
