Agnes excels in working with the whole person to regain full function. She has experience in orthopedic, neurological, sports and work injuries. In therapy, she incorporates her training as a certified Yoga instructor, training with mindfulness meditation and wellness and writing to optimize recovery and function. She is a certified Golf Fitness trainer and can up your game by assessing the physical restrictions that limit your swing.
The team at NWC is pro-active about healthcare as opposed to the “sick care” model and Agnes offers Wellness Coaching. Following Duke Integrative Medicine’s “Wheel of Health”** , Agnes coaches clients individually to meet their health and fitness goals. Through an interview process, musculoskeletal and fitness exam, a program is established with objective goals. With regular communication and meetings and fitness coaching, the individual will meet wellness goals, cope better with stress and improve his/her resiliency.

Dr. Steve earned his doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. He has practiced in a variety of settings including inpatient, home health, skilled nursing, and outpatient. By far, his favorite setting is outpatient orthopedics with endurance athletes. He has a passion for performance training including medically-based bike fits, running analyses, and injury prevention.
In addition to full time clinical practice, Steve is the founder and owner of 90 Revolutions. 90 Revolutions specializes in making training software to empower triathletes to live their passion.

Annie is an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant and Exercise Trainer. She has worked in a variety of Physical Therapy settings including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, long term skilled care and outpatient orthopedics. NWC gains a colleague and friend back as she worked with NWC in its’ infancy in 2005 and returned in 2012.
She is the instructor to Core Circuit class on Saturday mornings. This is a fast paced energetic class geared to start your weekend on the right track. She is a TRX certified instructor and this class incorporates TRX training in it.
Annie’s personality and skill guide her clients through rehabilitation and exercise training. She is an avid cyclist, tennis player, hiker and runner having completed one full marathon and several half marathons.

Tyler completed his training at his training at the Virginia School of Massage 600 hour medical massage program in 2000. From 1997 – 1999, he studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilization and Healing Touch while fulfilling his internship at Virginia’s student clinic. He is certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Health Professionals/ Board of Nursing. He has additional training in Stone Massage, Express Facials, Sports Massage, Trager and Aromatherapy.
Tyler enjoys the outdoors and has hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to New York. He enjoys his children, gardening and fishing.
